Debates in Arabic, the participants are students (2 students from Qatar and 2 students from Russia selected by a public contest of the QatarDebate Center and the Qatar Arabic Language Center in Moscow), divided into 2 teams («For» and «Against». Each team consists of 1 student from Russia and 1 student from Qatar), 3 jury members (entitled to include a Russian Arabic-speaking representative as one of the jury members), 1 moderator. 4 students make speeches on a given topic and then the other side’s speeches. The proposed format is a public debate. Its goal is not to determine the winner, but to state the importance of the coexistence of different points of view.
