Globalization, the pace of technological development, and demographic trends have had a major impact on the labour market and the demand for skills and the speed of learning, where the linear process of education can no longer meet these demands. New technologies appear so often that the competencies and knowledge acquired are obsolete by the time a diploma is awarded. This is leading to a change in the paradigm of the labour market moving from training staff for the current economy to developing human capital for the economy of the future. Different economic models have different training requirements. Which tasks and tools are relevant for different economies and macro-regions? What best practices and solutions can form the basis of the global labour market and human capital development ecosystem?
