Call for Collaboration: Private Sector vs Cybercrime
23 January 2019
11:00—12:00

Global digital transformation brings a great deal of opportunity for innovation and prosperity both to the business community and to organized cybercriminal groups. Being the first to adapt to new technology, they continuously advance their attacks, costing trillions in losses to the global community. This is according to just the official statistics — in reality less than 20% of incidents are reported, as most companies do not reveal this information in fear of losing their clients. Lack of a trusted environment and solutions for uninterrupted information sharing hinders global cooperation, whilst joint response from the private sector could prevent a great number of crimes. In this inclusive workshop we are going to define current problems of international collaboration, discuss the existing initiatives and identify key areas for developing synergies between global organizations.
