3 June 2017

Changing consumer preferences and technological innovations promise to reshape the structure of the Russian automotive market. Future demand is to be driven by vehicles with fundamentally new features, such as electric powertrains, self-driving technologies, and network capabilities. Changes in the global automotive markets are projected to shift where profits are captured to the benefit of manufacturers of high-tech components and systems, spurring the spread of advanced technology as well as the emergence of new models of competition and cooperation.
