Russian President Vladimir Putin plans to take part in the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum on 68 June 2019.
Each year, Putin takes part in the SPIEF plenary session along with heads of state who are guests of the Forum, and he also participates in business events at the Forum.
The St. Petersburg International Economic Forum has been held annually since 1997. Since 2006, it has been held under the patronage of the Russian President. The Forum features discussions on key economic issues facing Russia, emerging markets, and the world as a whole. Last year, the Forum was attended by 17,000 guests from 143 countries.
