A RussiaJapan Business Dialogue is to take place in Tokyo on December 16, 2016 during the visit to Japan by Russian President Vladimir Putin. The event is to be hosted by the RussianJapanese Business Council, Delovaya Rossiya (Business Russia), the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, Keidanren (the Japanese Business Federation), ROTOBO, and Jetro, and supported by both the Russian and Japanese governments. The Roscongress Foundation is acting as the partner of the event.
The RussiaJapan Business Dialogue is a landmark event in the development of economic relations between the two countries. Invited guests include the heads of major Russian and Japanese companies from a range of sectors.
The main themes to be discussed include health care, development of the urban environment, small and medium-sized enterprises, cooperation in the high-tech and export-oriented sectors, development and modernization of Russias Far East, promotion of cultural and humanitarian exchanges, and development of the countries traditional areas of cooperation in energy and manufacturing.
The Business Dialogue will include themed round table discussions, B2B and B2G meetings, signings of bilateral agreements and other events aimed at increasing bilateral partnership.
