Adviser to the Russian President Anton Kobyakov and Japanese Ambassador to Russia Toyohisa Kozuki held a meeting in Moscow upon conclusion of the third Eastern Economic Forum and Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abes visit to Vladivostok in September 2017.
The parties held a detailed discussion about cooperation between the two countries as part of the EEF 2017 and also summarized the results of the Forum. Kozuki expressed gratitude to Russia for excellent organization of the event. They also discussed prospects for further bilateral cooperation, including at major international multilateral events. In particular, Kozuki spoke about Abes plans to take part in the Eastern Economic Forum in 2018.
