On Wednesday, 6 November, at the
16th RussiaKazakhstan Interregional Cooperation Forum in Omsk,
representatives of major businesses, commercial banks, educational
institutions, and NGOs of the two countries signed a total of
14 cooperation agreements. These agreements should facilitate stronger
ties between the two countries, as well as enable experience sharing between
the parties and help them consolidate position both within their domestic
markets and internationally.
The Forum, organised by the Ministry of
Economic Development of the Russian Federation and the Roscongress
Foundation, has become a platform for signing major commercial and strategic
agreements between Russian and Kazakhstani companies and organisations.
«Every year, at the interregional cooperation
forum, increasingly more businesses from the two countries identify areas of
common interest and opportunities to expand mutually beneficial partnerships.
The number of bilateral agreements between commercial entities and NGOs is
growing accordingly,» said Anton Kobyakov, Adviser to the President of the
Russian Federation. «All this shows the
importance of ongoing dialogue. We have created an effective platform for
sharing experience, finding partners, and signing agreements. This interaction
format leads to the emergence of new trends in business and society, as well as
opens up multiple new opportunities for the forum participants.»
The signing ceremony was attended by the heads
and leaders of partnering organisations. OOO Titan-Agro signed an
agreement of intent to cooperate with TOO AZAM-KS, and bilateral
