The International Real Estate Investment Forum PROESTATE began in Moscow, an annual
event that brings together leading Russian and foreign experts in the industry.
Minister of Construction, Housing, and Utilities of the Russian Federation Vladimir
Yakushev opened the exhibition talking the major outcomes of construction
industry development.
“Further development of the industry requires an ongoing dialogue
between the authorities and the market players and PROESTATE is a forum that
may help provide a communication means to discuss the existing problems and
find solutions, to share success stories, inspire each other to new productive
work,” said the Minister.
“The PROESTATE Forum is essential for
substantial and meaningful dialogue between builders, investors, and the
authorities. Since it’s an international event, it allows effective exchange of
information and advanced technologies between countries that are leaders in
various sectors of real estate. In 2018, more than 3,700 people visited the
Forum, including delegates from Azerbaijan, China, Columbia, Kazakhstan,
Latvia, Russia, Singapore, Spain, the UK, the US, Ukraine, Venezuela, and other
countries. The business programme of the Forum covers both global and practical
issues of finance and investment in development, management, and exploitation,”
emphasised Chairman of the Board, Chief Executive Officer of the
Roscongress Foundation Alexander Stuglev.
The ‘Housing and Urban
Environment: On the Way to Strategic Goals’ plenary session became the key event of the
first day of the forum. The first top officials of the construction industry and experts in the real
estate market discussed sustainable development of the construction industry
and Russian housing and utility complex, as well as implementation of the
‘Housing and Urban Environment’ National Project.
Deputy Mayor of the City
of Vienna for Building Research, Building Regulations, Standards and Engineering
Services of Urban Agglomeration Bernhard Jarolim spoke at the plenary session
about the international experience of housing renewal. Vladimir Zhidkin, Head
of the Department for the Development of New Territories of Moscow, Alexei
Raskhodchikov, Deputy Director for External Communications at JSC
Mosinzhproject, Ignatiy Danilidy, CEO of A101 Group, Nikolay Kazanskiy, President
of the Russian Guild of Property Managers and Developers, and Anton Glushkov,
President of the National Association of Builders (NOSTROY), shared their
expertise on key issues of the industry.
The plenary session was followed by Russian-Turkish negotiations. Mehmet Emin Birpinar,
Turkish Deputy Minister of Environment and Urbanization. It is the third year
in a row that the Turkish Republic has become a partner
state of the international PROESTATE Forum. Later, all visitors were invited to
the Russian-Turkish cocktail party where prospects of co-operation and the role
of investment project development were discussed.
The exposition was a
massive area for business communication. The participants of the Forum had a
chance to see the stand of the Russian Ministry of Construction, Housing and
Utilities and the interactive stand of the Moscow Government, they could also learn
about advanced construction and management technologies, discuss the situation
in the real estate market and find out what the future holds for the industry in
the coming business season.
