Avtovaz, manufacturer of passenger cars under the Lada brand, has become an official partner of the 19th World Festival of Youth and Students. The Russian car manufacturer will provide 50 Lada Vestas to drive Festival guests around Sochi. WFYS guests and participants will also have an opportunity to take a closer look at the new model by taking part in Lada-sponsored activities at Festival venues.
The Lada Vesta rides on the Lada B/C universal platform and embodies the X-shape design philosophy, which is part of the brand’s DNA. This is one of Russia’s most popular models: the Vesta was comfortably the third best-selling model in 7M2017. Its model range is constantly being expanded with new versions and trims.
The 19th World Festival of Youth and Students will take place on 14–22 October this year in Sochi and will gather 20,000 young professionals in different areas aged between 18 and 35 from 180 countries.
#VolunteersofPeace, a corps of 5,000 volunteers from Russia and abroad, will be on hand to assist at the Festival.
The Festival will officially use the UN working languages: English, Arabic, Spanish, Chinese, Russian, and French.
For the first time ever, the whole nation will be involved in this grand celebration of youth. An International Carnival Parade in Moscow on 14 October will kick off the WFYS 2017. 2,000 international participants will also visit Russian regions, from Vladivostok to Kaliningrad, during the first three days of the Festival.
