In addition, research groups at leading universities form various spin-offs and startups that attract significant investments,» explains Ruslan Yunusov. «for example, ID Quantique, whose deal with Korean telecommunications company SK Telecom is valued at $130 million, has grown from a research group at the University of Geneva. There are plenty of cases like this, and they are happening all over the world. This is a global competition that takes place at all levels.»

The programme is being supported by MKR Media and the Friends for Leadership business initiative in partnership with PGBgroup2.0 and online science magazine N+1.
