The Innosocium National Social Projects Contest urges students to spend their time in quarantine productively and has extended the deadline for submitting applications until 30 April 2020.
«We welcome the initiative put forward by Innosocium to extend the period for submitting applications. New challenges should give rise to new ideas. Now is really the best time to stay at home and work calmly on social initiatives. It is wonderful that students have been given this opportunity. I believe that, by supporting young and enterprising people, the competition makes a real contribution to the formation of a new society,» noted Adviser to the President Anton Kobyakov.
The contest is being held for projects that benefit society and need real financial support. It offers a prize fund of RUB 1.5 million, which will be shared by three winners. Partners who oversee each category will also provide assistance in implementing the projects.
The contestants will compete in three key categories, each of which received support from the partners of the second season: Territory Development (category partner EVRAZ); Culture: Regional Initiatives (partner cultural platform ART-OKNO, «Art, Science, and Sport» Charitable Foundation), and Womens Leadership (partner MARS). Students can submit an application, learn about successful projects from the previous season, and consult with the organizers on the Innosocium website.
After the application campaign wraps up, the projects will be considered by an expert council, and a panel of experts will select the winner from among the finalists. This years awards ceremony will be held online for the first time.
«We have decided to once again remind students that crisis is a time for opportunities. I hope that some of them will have extra time to refine their application this month, while others, on the contrary, will come up with a new idea. Last seasons results showed that contemporary young people have enormous creative potential, and their projects are being effectively integrated into the modern world. We are glad that the contest has generated such a response among active young people, and we urge everyone to not be lazy and to participate in the project, because the experience you gain and skills you acquire can become the foundation of a future career. The most important thing is to believe in your idea and work hard,» said Elena Marinina, Deputy CEO of the Roscongress Foundation and Director of the Innosocium Foundation.
