On 30 April at 13:30 GMT the
next Friends for Leadership Online Meetup will be held on the topic “UN75
and the Cities We Want: Ensuring a New Decade of Actions for Sustainable Cities
and Communities”. Our special guests for the next event are UN
Under-Secretary-General and Special Advisor on UN75 and Digital Cooperation
Fabrizio Hochschild together with the UN Under-Secretary-General and Executive
Director of the UN-Habitat Maiminah Mohd Sharif. The event will be broadcasted
on YouTube and also on Facebook and Instagram accounts of Friends for Leadership in English, and the outcome
video will be available on the Roscongress YouTube channel, as well as on TV
BRICS.
This discussion was preceded
by our online events on 23 and 24 April, which were devoted to the
Global Governance in the Digital Age with our special guest Fabrizio
Hochschild) and "Young People's
Role in Driving Digital Trends during Uncertain Times" organized by
Office of the UN Secretary-General’s Envoy on Youth, Office of the UN
Under-Secretary-General and Special Advisor on UN75 and Digital Cooperation and

Next generation of leaders
and entrepreneurs from different sectors and areas of expertise together with
our special guest discussed the future of global governance after the pandemic
and provided their answers on how the international community could work
together to optimize the use of digital technologies and mitigate the risks,
specifically by building an inclusive digital economy and society, promoting
digital trust, security and stability, and foster global digital cooperation.
The outcomes of the discussion were presented on the main
UN virtual event on 24 April by Friends for Leadership representative and
Advisor to the CEO of Roscongress on Youth Policy Roman Chukov.
The Roscongress Foundation is a socially oriented non-financial development institution and a major organizer of nationwide and international conventions; exhibitions; and business, public, youth, sporting, and cultural events.
