Roscongress Foundation concludes range of cooperation agreements at Sochi forum

The Roscongress Foundation has signed ten strategic partnership agreements on the sidelines of the Russian Investment Forum (February 27-28, 2017).

• BTK Group will become the official supplier of uniforms and clothes for volunteers and temporary staff at the country’s leading economic forums. BTK Holding will also supply official jackets for several thousand media representatives attending Russia’s major business forums. The clothing has been developed by BTK Group specialists together with the Roscongress Foundation, and is manufactured in Russia using domestic textiles and materials. In return, the Roscongress Foundation will provide BTK with informational and advertising services.
• A trilateral memorandum of understanding between the Roscongress Foundation, the Russian Export Center (REC) and the Heihe Cross-Border E-Company Epindo has been signed with the aim of boosting exports of high-quality consumer goods from the Russian Federation to the People’s Republic of China (PRC). The three parties agreed to feature Russian-made goods in the Russian Pavilion on the TMall online platform, and also to organize convention, trade fair and exhibition events to promote Russian products in China, with the aim of increasing sales of food and other agricultural products. The REC and the Roscongress Foundation will discuss the prospects of forming an organization to collaborate with Epindo in establishing channels for supplying Russian goods to China, attracting suppliers of Russian goods and consolidating relevant quantities, holding marketing events, and providing mutual support in developing associated export operations.
• A partnership agreement with the Association of Innovative Regions of Russia, an association for economic cooperation between the constituent entities of the Russian Federation , will aid collaboration in organizing and running business forums. The new partners will combine their efforts to comprehensively analyse and address issues on the Russian and global economic agenda, to create platforms for communication at the global level, and to put in place the necessary conditions to promote new projects and ideas to aid Russia’s economic development. The AIRR will participate in developing concepts for events organized by the Roscongress Foundation, and work with the Foundation to attract leading Russian and international experts to attend them.
• Vnesheconombank and the Roscongress Foundation have agreed to provide joint informational support for the promotion of Russian exports as part of the ‘Made in Russia’ national brand project. The agreement will assist the two sides in building a partnership to develop the concept for the ‘Made in Russia’ national brand, as well as providing marketing, branding and communications support for the export of Russian goods and services.
• An agreement with the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration (RANEPA) will aid collaboration in a range of areas, including participation in developing the concepts and architecture for events organized by the Roscongress Foundation, as well as working together to attract potential participants, including leading Russian and international experts, to key Roscongress Foundation events. The Roscongress Foundation’s objective within the agreement is to work together with RANEPA to organize and run thematic sessions, conferences, and roundtables on the sidelines of events organized by the Foundation.
• The Roscongress Foundation and Rosseti have concluded a long-term cooperation agreement to provide a reliable electricity supply to the venues of the country’s major economic forums. As «strategic partner» for the country’s major economic forums, Rosseti will ensure the completion of design, construction and electrical installation work, provide equipment, and operate temporary power supply networks at the venues for the above-mentioned events.
• The Roscongress Foundation and the Franco-Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry have agreed to work together to organize joint events with the aim of strengthening economic ties between the Russian Federation and the French Republic. The two sides aim to organize events with the participation of government representatives, collaborate in forming trade delegations, conduct expert evaluations of programmes of business events organized by the Roscongress Foundation and devoted to Russian-French relations, and to cooperate in informational matters.
• The Roscongress Foundation and the American-Russian Business Council (ARBC) have signed a cooperation agreement to establish effective communications between expert associations and business and political circles in the Russian Federation and the United States of America. The agreement also includes the provision of consultative, informational and expert support on current issues in the economic and social agenda, the organization of joint congresses and exhibitions on economic and social issues, of both a bilateral and a multilateral nature, including forums, conferences, roundtables, business meetings, fairs, and presentations, and collaboration in informational matters and conducting campaigns of a promotional character.
• A cooperation agreement between the Roscongress Foundation and the Eurasian Development Bank (EDB) will facilitate cooperation between the two parties in such areas as exchanging analytical, statistical, and legal information, developing models for financing promising projects, and exploring opportunities for technical collaboration.
• Roscongress and CSKA Financial Bodies of Russia have agreed to cooperate in the area of sport. The major theme of the agreement is collaboration between the two parties in running sporting programmes at economic forums. The agreement will aid cooperation in developing physical education and sport, and joint development and implementation of programmes and projects relating to physical education and to informational and methodological matters.
