Roscongress Foundation and Austrian Federal Economic Chamber agree on cooperation
The Roscongress Foundation and Austrian Federal Economic Chamber signed an agreement on cooperation on June 2. The document was signed by Roscongress Foundation Director Alexander Stuglev and Chamber President Christoph Leitl.
The signing ceremony took place in the presence of Austrian Chancellor Christian Kern, Adviser to the Russian President Anton Kobyakov, Russian Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Vasily Nebenza, and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Austrian Republic to the Russian Federation Emil Brix.
The main theme of the agreement is cooperation between the Foundation and Chamber in formulating effective communication methods between professional communities and business circles of the Russian Federation and Austrian Republic.
The parties agreed to provide mutual consulting, information, and expert support as part of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum and the Eastern Economic Forum.
“Austrian companies are making great efforts to expand their business with Russian partners. The agreement between the Austrian Chamber of Economics and the Roscongress Foundation will support these aspirations. The actions taken by the Austrian Chamber of Economics and the Roscongress Foundation will lead to even more contacts and business growth”, Christoph Leitl said.
For his part, Alexander Stuglev expressed hope that this memorandum would serve as the basis for a fruitful dialogue, consolidate existing ties between Austria and Russia, and help synchronize efforts in the preparation of business strategies for the development of relations between the two countries.
