The Roscongress Foundation is a socially oriented non-financial development institution and a major organizer of nationwide and international conventions; exhibitions; and business, public, youth, sporting, and cultural events. It was established in pursuance of a decision by the President of the Russian Federation.

The Foundation was established in 2007 with the aim of facilitating the development of Russia’s economic potential, promoting its national interests, and strengthening the country’s image. One of the roles of the Foundation is to comprehensively evaluate, analyse, and cover issues on the Russian and global economic agendas. It also offers administrative services, provides promotional support for business projects and attracting investment, helps foster social entrepreneurship and charitable initiatives.

Each year, the Foundation’s events draw participants from 208 countries and territories, with more than 15,000 media representatives working on-site at Roscongress’ various venues. The Foundation benefits from analytical and professional expertise provided by 5,000 people working in Russia and abroad.

The Foundation works alongside various UN departments and other international organizations, and is building multi-format cooperation with 173 economic partners, including industrialists’ and entrepreneurs’ unions, financial, trade, and business associations from 78 countries worldwide, and 179 Russian public organizations, federal and legislative agencies, and federal subjects.

The Roscongress Foundation and the Made in Russia national brand project are joining forces to create an online presentation platform for Russian business. From June 2020, entrepreneurs will be able to access RCBusiness and Made in Russia services with wide-ranging opportunities to promote their goods and services to the widest possible audience.

The RCBusiness B2B marketplace has established itself as a convenient new tool for supporting Russian companies. In the month and a half since the project was implemented, over 300 companies have registered to the platform and added information about their services. From June, enterprises represented on the Made in Russia platform will be automatically added to the RCBusiness marketplace database, where they will have their own profile and the opportunity to reach participants of major convention and exhibition events in Russia with business news.

“Partnering with the Made in Russia project has allowed us to expand our single system for networking and promoting Russian companies. Having all these high-tech services in one place will make it possible for entrepreneurs to find partners, showcase their goods and services, share success stories, and reach new audiences. We must continue our work in the light of the current restrictions and shutdowns, and the marketplace is now set to become part of a modern ecosystem that includes working with partners, suppliers and customers,” said Alexander Stuglev, Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer of the Roscongress Foundation.

Over a thousand leading Russian companies are in the process of joining the Roscongress Foundation partner network and becoming active participants in the Made in Russia project. The RCBusiness B2B marketplace therefore expects to see demand among business owners and their customers. Using a digital platform makes accessing online markets significantly easier, helping companies to successfully sell their projects and find new customers and suppliers.

“The Made in Russia national brand is the first project in Russia to promote export, business and brands all in one place. “We are delighted to share our knowledge, best practices and contacts to support small and medium-sized business in Russia. Pooling our capabilities with the Roscongress Foundation partner network through RCBusiness will significantly expand audiences for projects, and will allow our companies to automatically integrate with Roscongress services. We expect to see huge improvements in the effectiveness of promoting Russian business and orders for domestic products,” said Mikhail Sadchenkov, General Director of the Made in Russia project.
