Cooperation Agreement Between FEFU and the History of Motherland Fund

The signing ceremony of a cooperation agreement between the Far Eastern Federal University (FEFU) and the History of Motherland Fund was held on the starting day of EEF 2018.

The President of FEFU Nikita Anisimov and the Executive Director of the History of Motherland Fund Konstantin Mogilevsky signed the agreement on academic cooperation in training specialists in history and Oriental studies.

The ceremony took place during the official opening of the International Conference ‘Historical and modern aspects of Russian—Japanese relations. Marking 160 years of consular ties between Russia and Japan’.

As Konstantin Mogilevsky noted, the transfer of items from the exhibition on the history of Russian—Japanese relations featured at the Forum to the university is the first step in this cooperation. According to him, unique historical documents from Russian archives will be of interest to future historians and orientalists studying in FEFU.
