The Roscongress Foundation, together with the Russian Export Centre (REC) and the Agency for Strategic Initiatives (ASI), are holding their next event in the series ‘Russia’s Regions: New Areas of Growth’ aimed at expanding investment opportunities, developing regional export potential and promoting specific territories.

The discussion will focus on attracting investment into the real economy. Creating new high-tech manufacturing plants, more jobs, and developing infrastructure are all ways to improve the region’s competitiveness.

Russia currently has institutions and mechanisms in place for supporting industrial development, from attracting financing, to searching for and implementing technological solutions, to helping businesses find markets within and outside of the country.

How can we help Russian regional enterprises understand global trends and integrate into international leaders’ production chains? What opportunities does the government currently offer to stimulate the creation of new enterprises? What else must be done to attract investments to the real economy?

The event is free to attend, but pre-registration is required.

To participate in this session, please register at: https://events.forumspb.com/en/s-registration/pskov/ before 20 August 2018.
