The Roscongress Foundation – a socially oriented non-financial development institution and a major organizer of international conventions; exhibitions; and sporting, public, and cultural events.

The Foundation was established in 2007 with the aim of facilitating the development of Russia’s economic potential, promoting its national interests, and strengthening the country’s image. One of the roles of the Foundation is to comprehensively evaluate, analyse, and cover issues on the Russian and global economic agendas. It also offers administrative services, provides promotional support for business projects and attracting investment, and helps foster social entrepreneurship and charitable initiatives.

Each year, the Foundation’s events draw participants from 208 countries and territories, with more than 15,000 media representatives working on-site at Roscongress’ various venues. The Foundation benefits from analytical and professional expertise provided by 5000 people working in Russia and abroad. In addition, it works in close cooperation with 126 economic partners; industrialists’ and entrepreneurs’ unions; and financial, trade, and business associations from 69 countries worldwide.

The Russia—Korea Business Forum will take place 22 June 2018 in Moscow as a part of the President of the Republic of Korea Moon Jae-in’s visit. The Korean International Trade Association (KITA), the Korean Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA), the Roscongress Foundation and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation are the organizers of the event.
At the Forum representatives of the Russian and South Korean official, business and expert circles will discuss: measures to increase trade between Russia and the Republic of Korea; ‘Nine Bridges of Cooperation’ proposed by the President of the Republic of Korea at the Eastern Economic Forum in September 2017 in Vladivostok and their role in strengthening economic ties between the two countries; development of investment potential and new opportunities for South Korean business in Russia; cooperation between Russia, the Republic of Korea and the DPRK in transportation and logistics.
Business Contacts Exchange is also one of the events of the Forum, where business representatives of the two countries can network and discuss cooperation issues.
