One of the roles of the Foundation is to comprehensively evaluate, analyse, and cover issues on the Russian and global economic agendas. It also offers administrative services, provides promotional support for business projects and attracting investment, and helps foster social entrepreneurship and charitable initiatives.
Each year, the Foundation’s events draw participants from 208 countries and territories, with more than 15,000 media representatives working on-site at Roscongress’ various venues. The Foundation benefits from analytical and professional expertise provided by 5000 people working in Russia and abroad. In addition, it works in close cooperation with 133 economic partners; industrialists’ and entrepreneurs’ unions; and financial, trade, and business associations from 70 countries worldwide.
The Roscongress Foundation, the Innovation Space project, and the Data Economy Independent Non-profit Association (INA) continue the Breakfast in the Digital Realm online discussion series on hot topics of the Digital Economy national programme in online discussions with state and business representatives. The next discussion of the series, which will take place on 20 May at 10:00, will deal with the future of digital technology after the end of the pandemic caused by the new COVID-19 coronavirus infection.
In addition, over half of the planets population have changed their consumption pattern once they found themselves quarantined. Cross-industry applications for keeping infection at bay were found for many digital solutions. This helped to renew the dialogue on overcoming regulatory barriers. All these factors undoubtedly opened up new opportunities for growth of digital solutions based on AR&VR, 5G, robotics, artificial intelligence and other technologies.
Under these circumstances, the Government of the Russian Federation, formed early in 2020, that was planning to clarify the objectives and results of the national programme, including ensuring rapid implementation of digital technologies in real economy, now has more allies as well as new challenges.
What digital technologies can expect in the near future will be discussed by the participants of Breakfast in the Digital Realm:
Sergey Nakvasin, Deputy General Director and Digital Technology Director of Data Economy INA will act as the moderator.
