About

The Roscongress Foundation presents a virtual cinema with media support from Komsomolskaya Pravda. Some of the best films about the unique nature, history and culture of the Arctic region will now be available to watch online. A new screening will be aired each week. The ‘Arctic: Territory of Dialogue’ International Arctic Forum has joined forces with the Arctic Countries Film Festival Arctic Open to launch the special project.

The Arctic Countries Film Festival Arctic Open has already screened The Lord Eagle and The Great North Way as part of the cultural programme of the ‘Arctic: Territory of Dialogue’ 5th International Arctic Forum. The festival brings together representatives of the film industry, journalists, writers, theatre producers, scientists, students, and residents of the northern territories. The project is supported by a grant from the President of the Russian Federation.

The Arctic Cinema is open on the International Arctic Forum YouTube channel. The media partner of the project is Komsomolskaya Pravda.
