The team of the «Regions of Russia» project went to the Chelyabinsk region in the South Urals, which is gradually transforming from a center of heavy industry into a center of folk crafts and tourism. There really is a lot of things to see. In the homeland of Russian damask steel, in the city of Zlatoust, you can see the longest sword made of damask steel in Russia (and maybe in the world) and admire the skillful work of the armourers. Or you can try yourself in blacksmithing — for example, minting a coin «Happy Kuziuk» and immediately taste the original Ural dishes in the restaurant of the same name. Do not miss the opportunity to visit the unique factory, from which at the beginning of the XX century mining of refractories began — the Magnezit Combine. From it you will take away not only knowledge and skills gained in interactive master classes, but also a piece of the rock as a keepsake.

You should see South Urals!
